We are searching for a specialist who will join our Procurement Department in Jelenia Góra. We are aiming for open-minded, flexible people who are enthusiastic about their tasks and area of responsibility.
Main tasks:
- Driving best in class competitiveness of our Components and Distribution systems
- Supporting in identifying problems and implementing solutions to optimize processes and the operations
- Managing our component portfolio and related strategic purchasing activities
- Preparing and proposing cost reduction activities as well as kicking off and evaluating cost analyses and deriving optimization measures
- Searching for new technological solutions and innovative new players
- Leading negotiations and ensuring compliance with all strategic objectives
- Developing and executing robust commodity strategies that enable best-in-class commodity performance
- Implementing supplier classifications on a regional level and advance the strategic supplier relationship
- Establishing and maintaining a strategic supplier panel
Candidate profile:
- Academic degree in Business or Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Min. 5 years of purchasing experience in a high pressure environment, preferably in the automotive industry
- Understanding of the metal components industry, technologies and associated best practices
- Track record of driving cost improvement opportunities
- Fluency in English is a must, good knowledge of German is nice to have
- Excellent computer skills with MS Office tools – particularly MS Excel
- Brilliant negotiation skills and strategic mindset
- Scrupulous approach to detail and analytical skills
- Very good organizational skills, independence and willingness to learn
- Availability, flexibility and willingness to travel
- High communication and interpersonal skills
