In order to support our newly established Engineering Development Centre in Turin, we are looking for an inspiring specialist capable of building a dynamic technical competences to meet the challenges of the international automotive industry with openness, flexibility and enthusiasm whilst shaping the future of automotive technologies. Tasks:
- Create concepts for hardware
- Analyze and design new hardware as well as maintain and expand existing applications
- Create and update technical documents (e.g. documentation, operating instructions, calculations, etc.)
- Cooperate in domestic and foreign projects
- Conduct all activities and tasks according to development processes (i.e ASPICE V Model)
- Provide technical support and backup for associates
- Preparing specifications for the designed electronics
- Performing design work (schematics, testing, worst case, layout) - possibility to specialize in one area
Profile:
- Completed studies (electrical engineering) or comparable professional background
- 3+ years of experience in hardware development.
- Able to create hardware design that fulfills given design goals (performance, cost, quality).
- Experience in work with microcontrollers (8, 16, 32 bit) and x-core processors.
- Experience in Altium designer, PCB Investigator, and LT Spice.
- Able to deal with functional conflicts, is flexible, customer and goal-oriented
- Complete the work with a high focus on quality and documentation
- Fluent in English, German would be an advantage
