In order to support our newly established Engineering Development Centre in Turin, we are looking for an inspiring specialist, capable of building a dynamic technical competences to meet the challenges of the international automotive industry with openness, flexibility and enthusiasm whilst shaping the future of automotive technologies. Tasks:
- Development of hardware & electronics for test systems and equipment;
- Observing/identifying trends in the field (especially high-frequency technology) to develop concepts; proposing recommendations for action;
- Creation of concepts and hardware architectures for complex hardware (HW) & electronics (devices, Electronic modules, components, architectures, etc.) with embedded software (microcontroller/FPGA) in the Testing Technology Division (PT);
- Analyzing, specifying and developing new complex HW & electronics (devices, electronic modules/architectures etc.) as well as repairing, maintaining and expanding existing electronics, devices and systems. Use of the specified ECAD development tools, such as Altium Designer, WSCAD;
- Calibration of devices and systems in coordination with the test equipment department;
- Implementation and collaboration in the creation of risk assessments and FMEAs.
Profile:

Completed studies (electrical engineering) or comparable professional background

3+ years of experience in hardware development

Ability to create hardware tests that fulfills given design goals (performance, cost, quality)

Experience in hardware testing

Experience in work with microcontrollers (8, 16, 32 bit) and x-core processors

Experience in Altium designer and LT Spice

Complete the work with a high focus on quality and documentation

Fluent in English, German would be an advantage
