Tasks:

• Technical leadership of the project team for the hardware development area during the entire development process (e.g. high-voltage battery projects).
• Responsibility for meeting deadlines, quality and budget in the HW project - this includes regular reporting.
• Execution of requirements analysis, concept development, architecture and design of the hardware of electronic components in cooperation with the project team
• Contact person for external and internal customers as well as presentation and coordination of technical concepts
• Monitoring of the documentation accompanying the development as well as the creation of integration and test concepts
• Further development of the hardware development process

Profile:

• Completed studies (e.g., electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science) or comparable professional background​
• 5+ years of professional experience in hardware development, and 3+ years of professional experience as a lead hardware engineer preferred in the automotive field​
• Ability to lead, motivate and moderate​
• Knowledge and experience with project management and execution methods and tools​
• Advanced knowledge of following tools: ​
  • Schematics Design in ALTIUM Designer​
  • PCB Investigator​
  • Simulation in LT SPICE​
  • Thermal Simulation SIX SIGMA ET​
• Knowledge of market technologies and methods 
• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and frameworks​
• Knowledge of Hardware / Software interfaces​
• Ability to interpret relevant EMC, environmental and reliability requirements​
• Knowledge of cost impact assessment and cost planning basics​
• Knowledge of ASPICE certification and implementation/application of Functional Safety (ISO 26262)​
• Fluent in English, German would be an advantage​
