Workplace Systems Engineer UCC

We are looking for a Workplace Systems Engineer UCC for our IT Department in Timisoara.

Responsibilities:

• Configure/test the standard client HW / SW used in our UCC environment for the world-wide workplaces and conference rooms;
• Create internal documents regarding the setup / configuration of HW / SW in the area of responsibility, in cooperation with IT infrastructure architects;
• Advise and instruct IT colleagues world-wide in setting up this standard UCC client HW / SW, for e.g., conference rooms. Mainly from remote;
• Maintain existing and new UCC infrastructure systems, like Skype for Business and Anywhere365, in the area of responsibility;
• Conduct as second level support and escalate problems to the internal or external service partners/providers in alignment with our processes;
• Assist in internal projects regarding workplace UCC;
• Configure additional functions for our Anywhere365 implementation as required from our internal customers.

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science or comparable education;
• Excellent IT knowledge in Client-Server-Technologies (SW/HW), Networking (LAN / WLAN / WAN) and a valid Microsoft Certification preferred in MS TEAMS or Skype for Business;
• Three-to-five-year IT experience in the areas network and client/server environments. Experience with telephony solutions from Cisco and / or Microsoft is an advantage;
• Independent, analytical, and structured way of working with problem-resolving abilities;
• Excellent English (speaking and writing), German is an advantage.
• Good communication, teamwork integration, customer orientation and problem solving skills;
