Transport Coordinator

We are looking for a Transport Coordinator for our plant in Timisoara.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures the implementation of ongoing transport contracts (coordination / dispatching) in collaboration with the team (Transport Organization); 
• Plan and ensure the loading and unloading of packaging (e.g.: containers, trucks, etc.) according to the directives;
• Check the appropriate transport packaging according to the directives and introduce measures;
• Establish the order of transports in case of several orders;
• Hand over the shipping documents and customs documents, announce the transport orders. Review and arrange all transportation paperwork; 
• Taking over transport orders and planning them and communicating all the information regarding the race (mode, loading / unloading schedule, etc.);
• Establishing the optimal travel routes and monitoring the transport routes (in cooperation with Transport Organization);
• Transmission of information to customers, IC and to the internal departments in connection with transport;
• Executes any additional tasks related to its activity and in order to perform its duties, transmitted by the direct superior or by the company's management.

Requirements:

• Higher Education in Technical / Economic field;
• Min. 5 years of experience in a related field (preferably Automotive);
• Knowledge of import and export;
• Very good knowledge of using MS-Office (focus on Excel) and logistics control systems;
• Knowledge of using ERP software (preferably SAP);
• Advanced knowledge of English;
• Communication and teamwork skills;
• Process oriented thinking, analytical skills and problem solving skills.
