We are looking for a Solution Engineering PLM Consultant for our IT Solution ENG, OTC Department in Timișoara.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, define, and document standards in the Teamcenter PLM area;
- Formulate and submit proposals regarding architecture-related topics to relevant committees (e.g., EAM meetings, PLMnext transformation program);
- Work closely with business stakeholders, software development and solution consultants, and enterprise architecture (e.g., develop holistic solutions and create solution concepts);
- Identify opportunities for process optimization based on Teamcenter PLM standard functionality;
- Design end-to-end processes in the development of ALM, PLM, and CAx applications, including integrations with Supply Chain (SAP) and the shop floor;
- Design and further develop scalable solutions in the Teamcenter PLM and Polarion ALM areas;
- Lead workshops with stakeholders to develop solutions for specific business problems;
- Evaluation and analysis of PLM and ALM requirements, participation in the preparation of key design decisions within the area of responsibility;
- Develop software and services for product development and their interfaces.
Requirements:
- Completed university studies (e.g., computer science) or completed vocational training with relevant further qualification;
- More than 5 years of professional experience in PLM, specifically Siemens Teamcenter;
- Comprehensive knowledge of Teamcenter architecture as well as basic knowledge of CAx applications and application integration;
- Basic knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter technologies and software development is an advantage;
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills, process oriented thinking and analytical skills;
- Excellent English skills; German language skills are an advantage.
