Series Project Manager Procurement E-Mobility

In order to support the Purchasing Mechatronics department in Timisoara, we are looking for a Series Project Manager Procurement E-Mobility who can meet the challenges of the international market with openness, flexibility and enthusiasm. Use this chance and join our success!

Tasks:

• Create project plans/concepts and assure they are followed (e.g. resource planning, schedule planning, cost planning, etc.) in cooperation with technical or key project leaders as well as technical areas; introduce actions in case of deviations, as required;
• Act as interface between involved internal/external areas (e.g. key project leader, technical project leader, sub-project leader, customer, suppliers, departments, etc.);
• Assure compliance with set project indicators/goals, especially in the environment of MCO (Material Cost Optimization);
• Analyze and evaluate changes (internal/ external), cooperate in negotiations (e.g. volume and costs of changes, etc.) and assure implementation;
• Provide technical leadership for project associates and/ or sub-project leaders;
• Assure the planning and implementation of the milestones and the project schedule with regard to all purchased parts activities and with interface management in the global supplier network/production network, with a special focus on MCO activities, if necessary in cooperation with supervisor;
• Coordinate, agree on and achieve cost goals as part of managing target results, especially in the environment of MCO; conduct target/actual comparisons; introduce actions for target deviations with escalation to key project management or within line organization as necessary; forward information for material cost calculations;
• Assure the provision of request documentation (e.g. requirements specification, PartSpec, logistic specification, quality specification, etc.);
• Assure the timely, project-related supplier qualification and implement measures, if necessary in coordination with supervisor, taking into account critical milestones;
• Assure the change and target management process, as well as maturity increase, with a clear focus on MCO;
• Conduct product reviews with participants of key project management and management, if necessary in coordination with supervisor, especially with the focus of identifying MCO potentials.

Profile:

• Completed Economic or Engineering degree, alternatively commercial / technical training with qualifying further education;
• Between 3 to 5 years of professional experience, ideally first experience in the area of ​​Procurement, gladly also subject-related areas;
• Minimum 3 years experience in Project Management in the vehicle or supplier industry as well as technical understanding;
• Advanced knowledge of English is a must, knowledge of German is an advantage;
• Communication, work in cross functional teams skills, process oriented thinking and very good analytical and proactivity skills;
• Willingness to take occasional business trips.
