In order to support the Serial Life Management department in Timisoara, we are looking for a Serial Life Project Manager who can meet the challenges of the international market with openness, flexibility and enthusiasm. Use this chance and join our success!
Tasks:
- Manage major SLM projects (planning, organizing and controlling), or several smaller SLM projects in cooperation with project team, and after approval by supervisor;
- Develop and coordinate subprojects, cost planning, monitor compliance and take countermeasures in case of deviations;
- Participate in new process and equipment design and planning for aftermarket manufacturability concepts;
- Ensure that technical production concepts are developed and implemented;
- Create change requests for internal and external customers, analyze and evaluate cost effects in cooperation with SLM project Team and supervisors;
- Supplier selection (Production Equipment, Services) and creation/ signing of task interface agreements with suppliers, and provide support in make or buy decisions;
- Ensure communication between the sending and receiving plant regarding SLM projects;
- Cooperate to prepare and transfer a project from series to LTS production and provide support as contact person for production specific issues;
- Participation at tests (e.g. Run @ Rate, Trials etc.), cooperate in monitoring and analyses of trials;
- Collaborate with other Departments to find solutions / optimizations, taking into consideration customer requirements;
- Ensure project documentation, develop prerequisites (e.g. training plans, necessary skills, hiring…) in cooperation with LTS Plant.
Profile:
- Higher Education in Mechanical Engineering/ Production/ Industrial Engineering or comparable training;
- At least 2-3 years of experience on a similar position or Project Management experience;
- Knowledge of technical correlations and knowledge of common lean methods (Six Sigma, continuous improvement process, etc.);
- Advanced knowledge of English is a must, knowledge of German is an advantage;
- Negotiation and communication skills;
- Object oriented and problem solving skills;
- Prepared to take business trips.
