Project Manager Procurement Interior

Tasks:
- Creation of project plans/concepts and ensuring compliance (e.g. resource planning, scheduling, cost planning, etc.) in coordination with specialist and/or main project managers as well as specialist departments;
- Managing and controlling the goals of the project (Purchasing view) and initiating measures in case of deviations;
- Ensuring compliance with allocated project budgets and distribution to subordinate functions (e.g. sub-project manager, etc.);
- Analysis and evaluation of changes ( internal/external), participation in negotiations (e.g. scope and costs of changes, etc.) and ensuring implementation;
- Preparation and review of project reports and presentations as well as project completion documentation;
- Participation in the optimization/development of processes, systems and methods (e.g. conducting lessons learned reviews, etc.);
- Creation and coordination of the project budget planning for the scope of purchased parts in the responsible project as well as derivation, agreement and pursuit of goals and measures on the basis of the specifications and in coordination with specialist departments (e.g. purchasing, etc.);
- Initiating and conducting kick-off events;
- Responsible for the supplier selection process as well as a continuous increase in maturity;
- Ensuring that suppliers deliver on time, on budget and in line with quality;
- Preparation and participation in customer audits, representing the department to customers in coordination with main project management;
- Creating transparency through sustainable project reporting;
- Interface function to the project partners from development, sales, quality, etc.
Profile:
- Bachelor or Master degree in a technical or economic field;
- Between 3 to 5 years of professional experience, ideally first experience in the area of Purchasing, gladly also subject-related areas;
- Ideally, minimum 3 years experience in Project Management;
- Advanced knowledge of English is a must, good knowledge of German is an advantage;
- Communication and resilience, flexibility and keen on improving the commercial situation in projects by assuring technical requirements, work in cross functional teams skills, process oriented thinking and very good analytical and proactivity skills;
- Willingness to take occasional business trips.
