We are on the lookout for a Solution Expert OTC for our Solution ENG, OTC Department - colleague whose main responsibility will revolve around consultancy and solution design in regards to process relevant IT requirements as well as maintaining quality gates in regards to internal and external development efforts based on defined quality guidelines regarding project management topics.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Understand and transform business demands and requirements into functional specifications for the development teams;
  • Ensure the completeness/ quality of requirements specifications/ functional specifications for a complete business sub-process (e.g. ensure the consideration of dependencies between the sub-process elements, applications within these sub-processes, etc.);
  • Support in determining and optimizing internal standards and complex processes within his/her own area of expertise (e.g. analyses and optimize existing processes/ tools, identify optimization potential taking into consideration technical further developments and interactions with other functional units, etc.);
  • Recognize general need for continuing education in his/her own field within the company; plan and conduct internal and external training on complex topics, both domestically and in other countries (e.g design and implement process and software trainings etc.);
  • Observe/identify trends in his/her area of expertise in order to develop concepts; suggest recommendations for action (e.g. implement market analyses with respect to processes and architectures, propose technical further developments, etc.);
  • Implement support functions (e.g. training of key users in the sub-process in the area of responsibility and in the corresponding applications/ modules, etc.).

 

Requirements:

 

  • University’s Degree within IT field preferred;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in consultancy for process digitalization and IT application projects with focus of application and architecture concepts;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in providing projects with the Microsoft project technology stack (Project Online, SharePoint, Teams) as well as common project management tools (Siemens Teamcenter, SAP, Jira, etc.);
  • Track Record in projects regarding application optimization/ architecture and application concepts based on Project Management and collaboration tools like O365, MS Azure and/or common collaboration tools and operational project management with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence;
  • Communication and customer orientation tools, business oriented and problem solving skills;
  • English is a must.
