Information Security Officer - Architecture

We are looking for an Information Security Officer - Architecture  for our Information Security Department in Timișoara.

In this architecture role, you will make a significant contribution to our cyber resilience and ensure information security requirements throughout the company by, among other things, securely shaping the path to digitalization or developing and implementing innovative solutions for cybersecurity.

Responsibilities:

• Align and coordinate information security functions against the company-wide security strategy and security roadmap;
• Support of the plants and functions in the implementation of the defined information security requirements, e.g. by consulting in business projects;
• Driving forward and implementing (global) information security projects to minimize security risks and development of security solutions, regional awareness and simulations of cyber security threats;
• Creating a risk profile for projects and assets and their impact on areas of information security;
• Observing and recognizing trends in order to develop concepts and propose recommendations for action;
• Developing information security solutions, simulations, automations and reporting tools in information security;
• Selection and decision on the alignment of the (IT) security tool landscape with the needs of all functions;
• Ensuring qualitative assessment and specification in projects and proof of concepts;
• Define, implement, and continuously review processes, strategies, and techniques to protect assets and information.

Requirements:

• Degree (e.g. computer science, business informatics, cybersecurity, business administration) or comparable professional career with several years of professional experience in information security as well as in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure and IT security;
• Good knowledge of common programming languages;
• Very good knowledge of IT/ OT systems and their security architectures;
• Broad knowledge in the field of IT/OT security and information security;
• Good communication and problem solving skills, process oriented thinking and personal initiative;
• Very good knowledge of English;
• Willingness to take occasional business trips;
