Head of Manufacturing Line Planning

Tasks:

• Ensuring the planning of the production processes in order to produce/ manufacture new and existing products of the Systems Segment (CS and BS);
• Development of the manufacturing planning department at central level and decentralization in the global production network for CS and BS products of the DRX Group, in coordination with the supervisor;
• Creating a network between colleagues from the factory and the head office, in order to exchange experience to focus on the products of  CS and BS;
• Creating/modifying all the work instructions for the production lines;
• Creating a short- and medium-term budget and planning investments taking into account the projects planned in coordination with the supervisor. Monitor compliance with approved budgets and take corrective action in case of significant deviations;
• Control and coordination of competent participation in the development and definition of equipment design, design (e.g. in the preparation of specifications, selection and evaluation of supplier performance, in particular from technological aspects such as processes, installations, tools and devices) for production in facilities around the world, based on specifications for the technical development of equipment processes and procurement, including participation in decisions such as processes, installations, tools and devices;
• Planning and carrying out production processes for existing and new products in accordance with the use of know-how of almost all production processes;
• Calculation, planning and implementation of the necessary resources for the production line (e.g.: no machines, tooling, operators, knowledge level, work instructions, FMEA, control plan. etc);
• Verification/modification of BOM and BOP in accordance with the production line vs product;
• Analysis and evaluation (e.g. parameters, characteristics, factors influencing the errors that occurred in the manufacturing process in global installations after the implementation of the new products), derive conclusions and take steps to correct errors that have occurred;
• Ensure support for production in global installations in his / her area of responsibility, in accordance with the requirements, by continuously identifying the potential for mass production improvement and by implementing improvement measures to ensure smooth and efficient series production.

Profile:

• Bachelor's Degree in Technical field;
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position in the Automotive sector;
• Good knowledge of MS-Office (especially Excel) and experience in the electronics manufacturing and assembly processes
• Knowledge of Lean tools(5S, VSM, line balancing...) and knowledge of PFMEA, control plan, time study;
• Experience in leading teams of engineers;
• Advanced knowledge of English is a must, German is an advantage;
• Communication and presentation skills, teamwork skills, process oriented thinking and very good analytical skills.
