In order to support the Industrial Engineering department in Timisoara, we are looking for a Head of Industrial Engineering who can meet the challenges of the international market with openness, flexibility and enthusiasm. Use this chance and join our success!

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensures the implementation of the industrialization of the products in the sector taking into account the specific goals of the project and strategy of the factory;
  • Continuous coordination and optimization of the factory regarding resources, processes. the flow of material and planning with the goal of being optimal for the  factory, respectively external connections;
  • Development of the Industrial Engineering department in the factory, in accordance with the superior and ensures the transfer of functions from the plant to the factory;
  • Ensures the planning and realization of the production processes from the reception of the goods to the delivery from factory of new and existing products in collaboration with the Departments of Product Development, Purchasing Fixed Assets, Logistics,  Production and Quality taking into account the specific goals of the project;
  • Ensures an optimal overall planning for the location regarding the short and long term resource load from an economic point of view and process safety. Informing the Headquarter about the available resources and areas;
  • Forming a network between the location and the headquarter regarding the competences in its own sector of responsibility;
  • Leads, develops and motivates the subordinated employees according to the principles of management of the company;
  • Make personnel decisions in collaboration with the Human Resources Department.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Higher Education in a Technical field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in the Automotive sector;
  • Leadership experience;
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office and experience in using SAP (S4/HANA is an advantage);
  • Advanced knowledge of English is a must, knowledge of German is an advantage;
  • Leadership skills, communication, work in cross functional teams skills, process oriented thinking, very good analytical and proactivity skills.
