Head of Focus Factory E-Mobility

We are looking for a Focus Factory Manager for our E-Mobility components segment to join our management team in our Timisoara plant.




  • Ramp up of the E-Mobility Components segment in the plant (High Voltage Battery Systems, High Voltage Components, Electronics Components).
  • Overall operations responsibility (Quality, Volumes/Time, Costs) for the highly automated serial production of E-Mobility Components in the plant Timisoara.
  • Fulfilling the role of an internal plant manager for the E-Mobility Components segment by strategic development and continuous improvement of the segment.
  • Lead, develop and train the production team from a current number of around 35 colleagues, that will go over 100 in the following years; identify and develop talents.
  • Inter-disciplinary Shopfloor Management based on KPI targets (OEE, Scrap, Rework, Productivity, etc.); implement corrective actions for deviations as required.
  • Ensure all production concepts needed on site for a successful production launch such as Qualification Matrix, Total Productive Maintenance, Capacity Scenarios, etc..
  • Work closely with the industrialization teams in Germany and Austria as well as the local launch management teams.
  • Implementation of a continuous improvement culture in a highly automated production environment (Lean Management, Feedback Culture, Real-time KPIs etc.).
  • Assure the implementation of safety, health and environmental protection regulations as part of legislation.




  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field;
  • Ideally 5 to 7 years in a management position (e.g. Production or Launch Management) in the automotive business, with focus on electronics / electronic components – absolute must;
  • Proven leadership skills;
  • Overall process orientated thinking, communication, goal orientation;
  • Extensive knowledge of continuous improvement methods -  an advantage;
  • Excellent English level - spoken and written.
