Commodity Buyer Services

We are looking for a Commodity Buyer Services in our Purchasing Indirect Material team for our plant in Timisoara.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Lead Buyer in establishing and expanding the Roadmap for the assigned groups of goods;
• Observing and analyzing procurement markets, identifying new technologies and substitutes and new suppliers; optimizing the portfolio of regional suppliers based on our risk management;
• Support in the early integration of suppliers for innovation projects for the development of new technologies and substitutes with the corresponding know-how;
• Participate in the optimization of relevant purchasing processes;
• Ensuring the evaluation, selection, approval and development of the suppliers, in cooperation with the relevant specialized departments; involvement in auditing suppliers;
• Requesting, comparing and evaluating the offers, taking into account the price, quality, delivery performance and technology for the materials and/or services requested by the departments; Clarification of details with internal customers and external suppliers, if necessary.

Requirements:

• Academic degree;
• Minimum 3-5 years experience, needed on the same position;
• Knowledge in IT field an experience in negotiation of IT related contracts;
• Very good negotiation skills and Process/objective orientation and analytical thinking;
• Fluent English mandatory/German language is a plus;
• Good computer skills with MS Office tools.
