We are looking for an ABAP Developer eager to build high quality software modules, contribute to SAP S/4HANA projects, and grow their expertise in modern SAP technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and optimize ABAP programs, CDS Views, OData services, and Fiori/UI5 components, following DRÄXLMAIER coding standards;
- Translate specifications into high quality technical solutions aligned with existing architecture guidelines;
- Working closely with cross functional and international teams to ensure high quality delivery and alignment across all development activities;
- Participate in standardization efforts, including development templates, coding patterns, and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Perform debugging and issue analysis across custom developments, integrations, and enhancements to ensure stable system behaviour;
- Support team members through knowledge sharing and collaboration, helping create a productive and learning oriented development environment.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of hands on SAP ABAP development experience, ideally in S/4HANA environments;
- Good knowledge of ABAP development fundamentals, including CDS Views, OData services, and basic Fiori/UI5 concepts;
- Experience with standard enhancement techniques (BAdIs, user exits, field extensions) and motivation to learn modern extensibility approaches;
- Familiarity with integration basics (IDoc processing, RFCs, basic troubleshooting); exposure to SPROXY or AIF is a plus;
- Understanding of the SAP development lifecycle, coding standards, and working within a structured system landscape;
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem solving skills, with a proactive attitude toward learning.
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
- Team oriented, open minded, and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively in international, cross functional teams.
