Objective of job
- Supply the DAV plant with raw materials and the customers plant with semi-finish products
Principle activities
- Control and coordinate internal DRX production and schedule the transports according pack months
- Monitor indicators according to guidelines, and report any deviations
- Checks and maintains the appropriate stock level in relation to the production plan and the existing stock in location and transports
- Contributes to maintaining an optimal volume of raw material stock in the production plant by signaling any system / process anomalies
- Uses internal tools (CMH, PKT, DV, HOST, TISS, BPM, etc.) to ensure the smooth running of the business
- Ensures the smoothing of the control orders in the system
- Establishes the level of stocks and the necessary production in order to plan transports
- Reacts in case of problems in production plant and initiates actions that will allow the continuation of production and deliveries
- Directly responsible for ordering raw materials from assigned suppliers and notifies the supplier in writing for direct transport and cost collection (3 levels of supplier information) in case of backlog
- Processes information from suppliers: confirms / denies deliveries, capacity issues, modifies the packaging unit, requests technical modifications, etc., ensuring compliance with the terms of the production plan and delivery to the customer
- Ensures the flow of information to the production plant, assigned suppliers and other departments
- Handle launches and phase-outs
- Handle excess inventory
- Participate in meetings for logistic topics
- Issue reports and situations based on assigned responsabilities
- Perform other provision given by hierarchical superiors in the implementation of short-term strategies of the company, within the limits of compliance with the legal basis
Job requirements
- Specialized knowledge / Education: Major in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Economics or a related field
- Work experience: At least 3 years of professional experience within the department or in a related field
- Additional knowledge: Proficient in English, Strong computer literacy (MS Office), and good understanding of Spec Log
