We are looking for a Head of Customs & Foreign Trade Hungary for our Customs & Foreign Trade Hungary department in Székesfehérvár.

Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements from regional stakeholders and translate them into system and process implementations;
- Support the definition, standardization, and continuous optimization of internal customs and foreign trade processes;
- Advise decision-makers on planning new logistics routes, considering international customs regulations and tax aspects, including scenario analyses and alternative concepts;
- Act as an internal and external point of contact for customs and foreign trade topics; participate in internal working groups (e.g. customs working groups, customs networks);
- Knowledge of customs approvals and simplifications;
- Maintain communication with customs authorities;
- Knowledge about preferential origin of goods in combination with existing Free Trade Agreements (FTAs);
- Conduct customs cost analyses and contribute to decision papers and strategic concepts;
- Good knowledge in specific customs law e.g. Union-Customs-Code (UCC);
- Knowledge in special customs procedures e.g. Inward and Outward Processing;
- Knowledge in goods classification.
Requirements:
- Degree from a University of Applied Sciences or University with 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, or a comparable qualification;
- Experience in coordinating or working with customs-related IT systems; involvement in system selection is a plus;
- Very good command of English and German, both written and spoken are required;
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with different stakeholders;
- Team-oriented mindset with a high level of initiative, flexibility, and conflict management skills;
