Specialist Purchasing Cable and Cable Protection

In order to support the Purchasing Department Tunisia, we are looking for a brilliant  Purchasing Specialist for Cable and Cable Protection to join the Team who can meet the challenges of the market with openness, flexibility and enthusiasm.

Priciple Activites: 

• Act as internal and external contact person within his/her own area of expertise; cooperate in internal working groups.
• Support in determining and optimizing internal standards and processes within his/her own area of expertise.
• Observe/identify trends in his/her area of expertise in order to develop concepts and suggest recommendations for action.
• Manage and maintain long-term strategic supplier relationships as owner of the supplier.
• Collaborate with global lead buyers and the international purchasing network.
• Collaborate with the P specialist project management during the project phase
• Request, compare and evaluate comprehensive offers taking into account price, quality, delivery performance and technology as well as implementing cost reduction measures in accordance with the activity plan and target specifications.
• Identify and realize cost potentials.
• Promote new technologies and substitutes, including initiating approval procedures.
• Participate in make-or-buy analyses and decisions.
• Mange the supplier determination process.
• Ensure the search, evaluation, selection, approval and development of new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant specialist departments.

Requirements :

• A bachelor degree in a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in contracts and procurement management.
• Commodity specific market knowledge.
• Commodity specific product Know-How.
• Fluent communication in english 
• Strong negotiation skills
