We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Officer to ensure accurate and timely wage and salary payments for our workforce. This role is critical in maintaining employee satisfaction, ensuring compliance, and supporting HR operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process for over 1,000 employees, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Prepare, review, and validate approved payroll sheets, including all deductions such as garnishments and special adjustments.
  • Handle legal salary updates, including individual changes and collective salary increases.
  • Issue and manage salary certificates and tax-related documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with HR and other departments to ensure smooth data flow and accurate employee records (headcount reports, statistics, personal data updates, etc.).
  • Maintain organized personnel files and payroll documentation.
  • Generate and distribute payslips to employees.
  • Ensure accurate and timely declarations to public institutions and authorities.
  • Provide clear support to employees by explaining payroll-related matters and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and data governance standards across all administrative activities.
  • Contribute actively to country-level HR projects and initiatives.

 

Profile:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in HR and/or Payroll roles.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, with good command of SAP (Key User level is a plus).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Excellent coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to contribute effectively to cross-functional projects.
