PLC Programmer and Automation Specialist

Mission

• Designing and Developing PLC Programs
• Diagnostic  troubleshoot issues in PLC systems
• Checking hardware components, ensuring proper wiring, and updating software as needed.
• continuously improve the efficiency and performance of PLC-controlled processes
• Ensuring the availability of production-supporting resources / systems for automation technologies.
• Execution of installations, commissioning, servicing/maintenance, training and support in worldwide service with corresponding travel activities.
• Independent work on very complex equipment and systems.
• Check for correct operation and carry out test runs for very complex equipment / systems using diagnostic systems.
• Determining the need for spare and wearing parts, arranging for the procurement of parts[FK1] .
• Development and proposal of measures to improve the economic efficiency of maintenance and repair processes as well as the maintenance standards.
• Building and maintaining good partnerships with internal and external customers (production, QA, engineering, etc.). building personal networks.
• Maintaining and updating technical knowledge by reviewing technical documentation and publications.
• Ensuring that the assets are running within the defined quality and productivity requirements.
• Training of the customer in the use and maintenance of the equipment.
• Instruct, guide and train newly hired employees.
• Recognize and document weaknesses, develop suggestions for improvement measures to increase system performance, cost efficiency, device malfunctions, errors and processes.
• Compliance with all relevant legal safety regulations (in particular the Occupational Health and Safety Act and environmental protection) and the central DRX specifications.
• Offer/provide technical support regarding PLC programing and tightening technologies.
• Support in optimizing internal standards and processes in PLC programing and tightening technologies.
• Process complaints within the plant in consultation with the supervisor.
• Install/remove and adjust assemblies/components in very complex equipment according to the regulations and check for correct function; adjust and/or rework as necessary.
• Supervise and carry out the construction, commissioning and relocation of very complex equipment / systems in the production plant, taking into account customer requirements, specifications, legal requirements, applicable norms and standards and in compliance with specified deadlines and quality.
• Analyze causes of device failures and propose corrective measures.
• Ensure the flow of information within the departments involved and to superiors
