Maintenance Deputy Manager UATS

About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled Maintenance Deputy Manager to join our dynamic automotive production team. In this critical leadership role, you will drive the performance, reliability, and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment, while supporting a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
You will work closely with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations and deliver world‑class manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and supervise preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for major equipment including:
- Plastic injection molding machines
- Foaming and lamination process equipment
- Automated assembly lines
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to secure maximum equipment uptime.
- Oversee, maintain, and optimize ABB and KUKA robotic systems used in assembly and inspection.
- Enhance automated line performance by analyzing downtime, defining root causes, and implementing corrective actions to improve OEE.
- Manage mold maintenance, cooling systems, and quality parameters for plastic component production.
- Deploy predictive maintenance tools to anticipate failures and ensure long-term equipment reliability.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce maintenance costs and boost operational efficiency.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with cross-functional teams to avoid disruptions and maintain smooth production flow.
- Manage spare parts inventory and supplier relationships to optimize cost and availability.
- Train and support technicians on troubleshooting, maintenance techniques, and technical best practices.
Profile & Qualifications:
- Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in the automotive industry.
- Strong technical expertise in:
- Automated production systems: Robotics (ABB / KUKA)/ Injection molding processes/ TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
- Proven ability to analyze failures and propose innovative optimization solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
