Java Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team and take ownership of backend development for SCM (Supply Chain Management) applications. In this role, you will not only implement development tasks but also shape the design of interconnected modules, ensuring robust, scalable, and standardized solutions across our global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the implementation of development tasks and processes for SCM backend applications in Java
• Support the standardization of application development within the DRÄXLMAIER Group
• Contribute to the definition and evolution of architecture principles, processes, and tools
• Coordinate developers and ensure smooth implementation of sub-applications/modules
• Validate compliance of all implementations with agreed architecture and regulations
• Evaluate and define suitable programming approaches in collaboration with application architects
• Create design samples, templates, and implementation guidelines
• Define and support testing and authorization concepts
• Collaborate on IT specifications and ensure accurate documentation for implementation
• Revise, conduct, and coordinate technical aspects of development projects
• Define implementation details for offers and specifications (e.g., class designs, module modifications)
• Coordinate work packages within IT orders and projects

What We are Looking For:

• IT Engineer with minimum 3 years of experience in the development field.
• Strong expertise in Java backend development
• Experience with SCM applications or similar enterprise systems
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles and development processes
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• Frontend experience (JavaScript, Angular)
• Experience with Jenkins, Ansible or other CI and deployment tools
