Head of IT Operations On-Site

Missions:

• Assure operation of office and shop floor systems at UATS site in a complex environment (IT responsible on-site), incompliance with applicable ITSM processes, standards and IT guidelines.
• Recognize deviations and requirements on site, as well as initiate appropriate measures.
• Conduct root-cause troubleshooting (e.g. Problem Management) and potentially changes (e.g. change coordinator)
• Operate on-site IT Tasks and responsibilities, based on valid guidelines and processes (e.g. integrate new hardware components in the infrastructure, install newinfrastructure systems according to specifications and guidelines, etc.)
• Technically lead on-site IT colleagues in solving complex inquiries in the area of office and shop floor
• Troubleshoot IT infrastructure in 1st level support and potentially in 2nd level support (e.g. hardware failure, log file entries, etc.)
• Track local IT jobs and tasks and follow up detected deviations
• Analyze and clarify problems with internal and external partners (e.g. act as contact person and clarify technical issues related to PC-controlled machines with themanufacturers, etc.)
• Use of 5S methodology for work related activities on active or passive IT components in the area of responsibility
• Process IT service requests and IT incidents in 2nd level support at the respective site in compliance with applicable ITSM processes, standards and IT guidelines
• Responsible for the IT cost centres at the site
• Assist in development, secure and correct maintaining of the hardware and software assets in management tool.

Profile :

• Engineer degree in IT or a Bachelor degree with confirmed experience (3 to 4 years)
• Fluent English, German is a plus.
• Knowledge of the field of Automotive is a bonus
