Embedded Software Developer

Mission:

• Develop, provide and manage embedded software for test systems and operating equipment

Responsibilities:

• Create concepts and hardware architectures for hardware (HW) & electronics (devices, electronic modules, components, etc.), esp. embedded software in the area of test engineering (PT).
• Analyze, specify and develop new embedded SW for HW & electronics (devices, electronics modules/architectures, etc.) and extend existing electronics, devices and systems. Using the given development tools, such as MDK ARM, Altium Designer, WSCAD.
• Participate in the creation of, as well as verify compliance with, specifications and guidelines for the development of embedded software of electronics, devices and systems.
• Assure compliance with all regulations according to the current status of technology, in his/her area of responsibility
• Coordinate in the development projects and deliverables with the other departments in Romania, Tunisia or with external development service providers.
• Create, document, manage and update technical documentation (e.g., documentation, operating instructions, calculations.
• Create internal publications (e.g., documentation, etc.) and present (internally) as appropriate.
• Participate in domestic and international projects
• Performing all activities and tasks in accordance with development processes (e.g. V-model, etc.) and in compliance with relevant design criteria and in accordance with the state of the art.
• Plan and execute production support for manufacturing, in particular rollout of Hardware/Software in cooperation with involved departments.
• Plan and execute commissioning of equipment/plants/systems at home and abroad plants
• Collaborate in the creation of guidelines and (sub)processes for development of FuSi components. Close coordination with the FuSi managers of the TC.
• Provide technical support and backup for associates, analyze and solve problems with regard to hardware/software (e.g. for the electrical function tests in the outside plants, in case of customer complaints, operation and testing of hardware/software modules, etc.)

Profile :

• Master’s degree in electronics/embedded systems field
• At least 03 years of expereinece in a similar position 
• Knowledge in conception & development of technical embedded systems (esp. test systems)
• Common design/engineering techniques in embedded software as well as hardware development
• Development of hardware related embedded software in C programming language based on microcontrollers (esp. test and test systems)
• Perfect communication in English is mandatory
