Deputy Manager Quality

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager Quality to lead and continuously improve our quality management system at our Sousse site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product and process quality, customer satisfaction, supplier quality performance, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and maintain the site's Quality Management System in accordance with corporate standards and customer requirements.
• Ensure product and process quality throughout all production stages.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal audits and support external certification audits.
• Manage customer quality issues, complaints, KPI follow-up, and quality presentations.
• Coordinate supplier quality activities and drive corrective actions with suppliers.
• Lead quality improvement projects and preventive quality initiatives.
• Ensure process and product release activities in serial production.
• Monitor quality KPIs and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and develop quality team members through coaching, motivation, and performance management.
• Lead customer meetings, quality reviews, and problem-solving workshops.
• Apply quality tools such as QRQC, Core Tools, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and promote a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Production within the automotive industry, preferably in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of quality standards, audits, Core Tools, QRQC, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Fluent in English and/or German.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and teamwork skills with a strong quality mindset.
