We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across our plant. In this role, you will lead improvement initiatives that enhance industrial performance, generate measurable cost savings (hard & soft), and support a culture of continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and implement continuous improvement  projects in collaboration with Production, Logistics, Quality, and other departments
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities across the entire product lifecycle and execute appropriate measures
  • Drive and coordinate programs with other plant locations and central functions
  • Develop and contribute to a best practice database in alignment with plant management
  • Implement and monitor compliance with standards, and propose improvements where needed
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, scrap rate, and capacity utilization, and define improvement actions
  • Facilitate workshops (Production, Logistics, etc.) to identify optimization opportunities (time, space, material, equipment efficiency, error reduction)
  • Prepare structured reports and present improvement outcomes to management
  • Define and track action plans, responsibilities, and timelines to ensure successful implementation
  • Support optimization of processes, standards, and machinery (including digital tools and monitoring systems)
  • Deliver training on continuous improvement methodologies, Lean tools, and project management

 

Profile:

 

  • Engineering degree in Informatics, Mechatronics, Electromechanics, or a related engineering field or equivalent.
  • Strong English skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., Six Sigma, SMED, Kaizen, VSM) is a plus
  • Experience in a similar role is considered an asset
