This role is ideal for a proactive finance professional seeking to leverage their controlling expertise in a dynamic environment focused on driving financial transparency and operational improvement.
As a controlling specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting comprehensive financial planning, cost management, and reporting for our organization.
You will collaborate closely with various departments to drive transparent, efficient, and data-driven decision-making in line with short, medium, and long-term organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and analyzing financial plans for costs, services, materials, and investments across short, medium, and long-term horizons.
- Collaborate on developing and evaluating multiple planning scenarios and target models to support project planning.
- Set up and manage cost center accounting, conducting variance analyses, validating data, making recommendations, and coordinating with cost center managers on financial matters.
- Compile and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including hourly and overtime rates, and provide actionable insights.
- Support material controlling efforts, particularly around additional usage and scrap costs.
- Implement inventory controlling for both production series and non-series items.
- Manage controlling for fixed assets, including tracking and analyzing costs.
- Contribute to project controlling within plant-based projects and investment transparency initiatives.
- Participate in cost control initiatives to reduce overhead costs and improve operational efficiency.
- Engage in process cost analysis to drive better understanding and management of plant-related expenses.
- Analyze and improve data quality in foundational systems (e.g., bill of materials, production schedules).
- Prepare and validate wage data requests and assist in calculating non-conformance costs from suppliers, customers, and internal sources.
- Perform inventory valuation, including calculations for overtime rates impacting inventory assessments.
- Prepare assessments for asset scrapping decisions, including both series and non-series materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in finance controlling, with a solid understanding of business administration.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
