Objective of Job

  • Lead and coordinate a main interior project according to customer requirements, to assure product development and support that are on-time, on budget and sufficiently mature, from the conception phase up to series production while complying with the project goals and available resources within the BU strategy.

Principle Activities

  • Customer relations
  • Clarify expert topics with the customer in cooperation with supervisor in the project hierarchy.
  • Target results
  • Assure or develop an optimum cost structure for the project, with the goal of maintaining target cost management (such as more cost-effective supplier selection, material management, etc.). Determine and coordinate project costs for the requested project in coordination with the supervisor in the project hierarchy, monitor compliance in all departments, and counteract target / actual deviations.
  • Project management / documentation
  • Assure that the agreed project goals for corresponding technical topics are achieved. Promote constructive cooperation between the departments involved. Promote problem-solving, setting priorities and bring about sustainable decisions based on the SEP rules, in order to achieve  project goals in close cooperation with the departments and in cooperation with the supervisors in the project hierarchy. Create or check periodic project reports (according to agreed rules) and presentations before and during the project period as well as the project closing documentation for handover to the direct supervisor in the project.
  • Change management
  • Describe and evaluate change requests, and assure implementation of change orders from internal or external customers as well as analyze and evaluate the cost effects in the area of responsibility, in coordination with the project supervisor.
  • Employee leadership
  • Lead and motivate subordinate associates within the project organization according to the agreed guidelines and authorities. If there are performance problems or general problems, coordinate with the line supervisor or BU manager (for escalation).
  • Project management
  • Develop a suggestion for project organization according to DRX guidelines. Define tasks, rules and interfaces for the selected sub-project leaders based on the SEP. Adjust the project structure to changing requirements as the project progresses.
  • Active participation in all company activities and programs (Quality, Ideas for improvement, Training, Human Resources, Security, Hygiene and Environment, etc) which apply according to the proper activities of the position.

Job and Work Requirements

  • Study or corresponding education and experience in a relevant field of activity, expanded knowledge of business management
  • 5 years in Automotive Industry , 3 years experiences as minimum on engineering or production
  • Very strong Project Management skills
  • Process- Oriented Thinking, Problem Solving, Ability to analyze, Creativity / Innovation/ Initiative, Target Orientation, Leadership, Economic thinking and acting/ Teamwork / Cooperation, Conflict Management, Customer orientation (internally and externally), Intercultural Competency
