We are looking for a Head of Quality to join the management team in Satu Mare.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and maintain the local Quality Management System in accordance with the central DRÄXLMAIER regulations and customer requirements;
  • Ensure that activities within the area of responsibility are carried out in compliance with QCDSM indicators (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Management);
  • Support the strategic planning of the division by cascading or developing the strategic plans of the subordinate departments such as Customer Quality, Internal Quality, Supplier Quality, and Management Systems & Methods within a short- or medium-term timeframe;
  • Prepare proposals for solving raw material quality issues, in collaboration with headquarters, in the case of internal and external suppliers, including conducting supplier audits when necessary;
  • Plan and agree with customers and suppliers on the evidence required for approval and launch of first samples and product requalification;
  • Ensure process and product approval during the serial production phase, including unfinished products and their documentation; plan and coordinate with customers and suppliers the evidence required for approvals; initiate appropriate initial sampling and re-sampling during the serial production phase; where necessary, request temporary approval for product deviations (special release);
  • Steer the certification (like ISO TS 16949) and related audits (internal, customer or other 3rd party lead), monitor & manage related actions;
  • Lead task forces on quality related topics, act as face to the customer regarding quality related topics.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • University degree in a technical field;
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a technical or related field within the automotive industry;
  • Knowledge of automotive products, technologies and customers;
  • IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 knowledge;
  • Knowledge of Core Tools: APQP, FMEA, PPAP/PPF, BD methodology/ complaints management, Q7 tools, SPC, customer-specific requirements, requalification tests, special characteristics;
  • English language skills at conversational level are mandatory; German language skills are considered an advantage;
  • Strong communication, team coordination, and conflict management skills, strategic thinking, and customer-oriented mindset.
