Head of Internal Quality

For our development projects we are looking for team members who face the challenges of the international automotive markets with openness, flexibility and enthusiasm.

Tasks:

• Ensuring and maintaining the quality of the product and processes of the production site, in series production, in order to satisfy the customer's expectations;
• Ensures early detection of weaknesses, risks and defects of products and processes installed on site;
• Ensures compliance of products and processes with quality requirements in the project;
• Implement appropriate measures to eliminate the defects and weaknesses, risks, respectively, and evaluate the effectiveness of the implemented measures;
• Managing the Continuous Improvements projects  (CIP) , identification of  cost-avoiding/ saving opportunities;
• Planning , administrating the budget in its own area of responsibility, implement the necessary action to ensure the compliance with it;
• Preparing  the  periodically  internal quality status reports
• Act as the contact person for all questions and topics relevant to external complaints;
• In case of escalation, ensures cooperation with central collaborators and promotes the implementation of effective solutions.

Profile:

• Bachelor Degree in technical field;
• Working experience in a similar position / Quality department in the automotive industry;
• Proven working experience in management and team coordination;
• Knowledge of Quality techniques and methods (VDA, FMEA, PPAP/PPF, SPC, MSA, Metode 8D, customer specific requirements);
• Knowledge of continuous improvement processes (Lean, Kaizen, 5S);
• Good communication skills in English; German language is an advantage;
• SAP knowledge would be an advantage;
• Good organization, analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Good negotiation skills, goal and result oriented;
• Ability to take initiative, make decisions and adapt to frequent changes;
• Very good communication skills, team–player and self-motivated;
• Strong willingness to learn, grow and to further develop himself and others.
