Objective of the position
Planning and strategic coordination of the LTS logistics department, in order to ensure compliant deliveries to the customer, and to achieve the departments defined goals, objectives and KPIs.
Principal activities
- Accomplishment of the strategic planning of the LTS department, by implementing the logistic defined actions, on short, medium and long term, in order to fulfill the plants goals and KPIs.
- Planning and managing the budget in the area of responsibility, in agreement with the LTS manager, as well as complying with it.
- Short, medium and long term personnel planning in the area of responsibility. Ensures the employment of qualified personnel according to the job requirements. And to the needed capacity.
- Strategic coordination of service parts production planning; ensures the logistic flow for materials, finished and semi-finished parts and the compliant delivery to the customer.
- Management of the raw material stocks. Ensures the supply of raw materials necessary for production in accordance with the annual planning. Tracking stocks and submitting scrapping proposals, in agreement with the LTS central logistic dep.
- Coordination of the activity in the warehouse of raw and auxiliary materials.
- Planning and coordinating the periodic inventory for raw and auxiliary materials.
- Participating in the planning and implementation of relocation projects from other DRX plants, by coordinating and implementing logistics topics.
- Constant monitoring of logistic indicators (for ex.MEA, MMV). analyzes and definition of necessary actions, in case of deviations.
- Coordination and optimization of the information flow, between the logistics department and the other dep.
- Periodical training and evaluation of the logistic personnel, as well as personnel motivation. Issues development plans, monitors and ensures their implementation.
Requirements:
- Professional career: BD • Mechanical/ Administrator/ Industrial Engineer or careers related.
- Relevant experience: 3–5 years in the automotive industry; 2–3 years of experience in ERP/MRP/EDI systems, SCM concepts, inventory control, JIT and warehouse management.
- English Advanced Level
