Objective of the position
Ensure the design and the technical overall conception in SAP ABAP developments. Ensure the design and the technical overall conception in SAP ABAP developments.
Principal activities
- Act as internal and external contact person within his/her own area of expertise; cooperate in internal working groups.
- Create internal publications (e.g. documentation, etc.) and present as required (internally)..
- Recognize general need for continuing education in his/her own field within the company; plan and conduct internal and external training on complex topics, both domestically and in other countries (e.g ensure the training of employees and the knowledge transfer etc.).
- Support in determining and optimizing internal standards and processes within his/her own area of expertise (e.g identify deviations and optimize potentials of development and software standards and application architectures etc.).
- Observe/identify trends in his/her area of expertise in order to develop concepts; suggest recommendations for action (e.g. continuous further development of the specialist knowledge based on prescribed application development technologies, methods and processes etc.).
- Conduct mainly conceptual activities within his/her area of expertise.
- Support the required processes by the application landscape and ensuring a redundancy-free representation of the business process in the application functionality.
- Check the integration of the relevant application by updating the IT system landscape.
- Support architecture-relevant subjects for the IT process meeting.
- Support in the standardization of the application development within DRÄXLMAIER Group
- Participate in the stipulation and further development of general architecture principles, development processes and tools.
- Ensure the implementation of the development process with respect to specification and implementation (e.g. coordinate and cooperate in the creation of the IT specification based on the requirements from the functional specifications etc.)
- Consulting technical solutions in own area within cross-hub in alignment with factory lead.
- Managing and Implementing new technologies in own area in alignment with factory lead.
Requirements:
- Professional career: BD Computer science, Informatics or related.
- Relevant experience: 5+ years working in the role in the automotive environment. Experience in IT support, SAP ABAP.
- English Advanced Level.
