Objective of the position

Cooperate in implementing sales strategies in order to achieve and expand sales, turnover and earnings goals; advise and support the customer in the national/international environment, in order to increase customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.

 

Principal activities:

 Submit and negotiate cost evaluations with the customer.

 Create price transitions and negotiate price agreements for series and spare parts with the customer.

 Determine and negotiate special cost activities (e.g. development, excess, launch, and phase-out cots, SOP/ EOP changes, etc.)

 Create cost breakdowns, cost comparisons and benchmarks.

 Manage outstanding claims (e.g. tracking, assuring cash flow, etc.).

 Lead the sales project in series projects.

 Create, check and comment on monthly reports (e.g. product report, TC/TP, CDTL, BEP etc.).

 Cooperate in customer negotiations with other departments (e.g. logistics, etc.).

 Reach consensus with departments that are relevant for bid creation (e.g. logistics, development, etc.).

 Develop cost evaluations (e.g. calculate part/investment costs, create bid prices, create revision documentation, determine material types and quantities, production minutes, etc.).

 Build up and intensify customer relationships (e.g. at customer meetings and functions).

 Calculate and negotiate bids as required (e.g. prototypes, sample parts, special shipments, series, etc.)

 

Requirements:

 Professional career: BD Business Administration or similar.

 Relevant experience: 3-5 years working in the role in the automotive environment.
