Intern Transport Planning

Objective of the position:

Support in planning, introducing and improving complex logistical processes related to all modes of transport.

Principal activities:
• Support Transport Planning team with the following activities:

- Cooperate in developing integrated optimization proposals for transportation and assure their implementation.

- Cooperate in data collection on the capacity and resource planning in each transportation network.

- Create and improve Transportation flows.

- Set up and support the logistics functions (e.g. in the production plants, at launch, in the supply chain, in transport- and container management, etc.)

- Work with customers and suppliers with regard to departmental topics.

- Determine logistics costs (e.g. for bids, containers, transports, etc.). 

- Create documentation (e.g. packaging data sheets, requirements manuals, etc.) and presentation. 

Requirements:
• Professional career: BD Engineering/International Business/Business Administration/ or related. Interested in Automotive logistics, project management, data analytics, statistics or similar field.
• Relevant experience: 6 months in logistics related field, e.g. transport logistics, parts logistics, intercompany logistics.

- English Business Level.

Technical knowledge:

Microsoft Office.
