Facility Management LATAM (Mechanical)

Objective of the position
Standardize and control the processes and instruments of Facility Management in the LATAM region as well as provide support and specialized support for future development of FM ensure from a regulatory and government system (codes and standards) are met but exceeded where applicable.
Principal activities
Mechanical & HVAC Systems
- Technically direct and inform/instruct FM employees.
- Advising managers on all issues relevant to FM, in particular renovation and updating, including budget control and budget planning, as well as sustainability projects
- Represent the company audits; follow-up of all resulting actions.
- Verify compliance with relevant laws and regulations; handle legal matters related to the operator's responsibility in cooperation with the specialized departments
- If necessary, develop local guidelines/standards for the respective department of the department
- Standardize and Control the development of specific guidelines at one or more sites; train FM staff at the sites on the content of the guidelines.
- Monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to the specific area of expertise in cooperation with specialized departments.
- Advise plant managers on all relevant FM issues in the region, including making recommendations to the region management at all levels of reporting.
- Design and control annual themes focused on FM of the region (e.g. reducing machine downtime, increasing user satisfaction in the plants, e.g. optimizing employee catering, implementing new concepts in the workplace, etc.).
- Create standards and adapt to new legal requirements in the region in consultation with global FM management.
- Analyze the actual situation on the sites and develop possible improvement potentials (technical solutions, engineering, technical advice, etc...).
Requirements:
- Professional career: BD • Mechanical Engineer, Electro-Mechanical Engineer
- Relevant experience: 3-7 years working in the role in industrial facility management, maintenance and safety management, construction project management, quality systems and finance & business , facility administration and project management administration.
- English Business Level.
