Objective of the position:
Ensure Logistics performance by the suppliers; define, introduce and implement corrective measures in case of deviations in supply agreements, from the pre-series phase right up to spare parts service. Manage and carry out all suppler-related activities with knowledge of Logistics processes; continue developing the supplier basis.
Compile the governance specifications for the assigned area of responsibility "Supply Chain Performance IS" as specified by the supervisor and ensure they are adhered and ensure adherence to the rules and standard, continue development of standards and best practice solutions.
Ensure sustainable logistic supplier quality to stabilize the supply chains and avoid disruptions, high stable level of customer satisfaction from the point of view of Logistics, reduce non-conformity costs NCC and thus higher supply performance throughout the world over the whole product life cycle.

 

Principal activities:

• Segment-related assurance to supply the assigned plants within the agreed time and quantities by ensuring fully developed, stable Supply Chain Performance.

• Work out Logistics concepts (e.g. optimization concept, etc.) per agreement with the involved areas.

• Ensure the worldwide segment-based transfer of know-how, together with the local Logistics heads in the production areas, as well as central specialist departments.

• Participate in concluding and enhancing supplier agreements and contracts with regard to Logistics requirements.

• Draw up supplier development programs, define target systems and multi-stage plans with the suppliers and monitor supplier development based on the agreed targets.

• Protect internal supply chains (plant to plant) and customer supply against Logistics errors through the implementation/verification of preventive action by the industrial manufacture teams and the use of suitable methods such as e.g. FMEA.

• Coordinate escalations and documentation to suppliers by means of suitable deviation management, like calculating and measuring threshold values for logistical complaints, logistical delivery reliability, special trips, etc.

• Coordinate Logistics tasks (such as e.g. defect control through material control) in the case of insolvencies, force majeure, serious supply bottlenecks in consultation with the supervisor.

 

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or College Degree: Industrial engineering, Mechatronics engineering, Business administration or similar.
• Automotive experience, preferable in material planning.
• 3-5 years of experience in the Logistics environment.
• Auditor Experience.
• English advanced.
