EHS & Fire Protection Specialist

Objective of the position 
Ensure legal compliance as well as compliance with the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Management systems, for the prevention of environmental incidents and accidents
 

Principal activities

• Communication with OPS (Plant Managers / COOs): regular consulting through plant level meetings 
• Technical Leading (Dotted Line) of local EHS Staff in the region: Hiring, Onboarding, Coaching, MQA for local EHS staff together with local SI/ Plant Leaders 
• EHS Reviews: Support plants to plan and conduct EHS reviews and LOP follow-up 
• EHS audits external & internal: support on preparation, auditing and follow-up of effective corrective actions 
• KPI Reporting (Recycling Quote, ISO 45001 Certifications, Incident Reporting): Communication as a bridge between Corporate EHS and plant EHS on the status reporting, support local EHS in case of deviations 
• Legal Compliance Evaluation (ENHESA): Support on conducting new legal management platform ENHESA in all plants 
• Plant Visits / Videowalks: regular visits and videowalks at sites to validate and calibrate EHS performance 
• EHS Management Review: Support local EHS to finish management review

Requirements:

Professional career:

• Industrial Engineering or Similar Bachelor's Degree

Relevant experience: 

• ISO-14001
• ISO-45001
• Legal requirements
• Brigade Administration
• OEA y CTPAT

Technical knowledge:

• Norm IATF 16949
• ISO 14001:2015/ISO 45001:2018  
• Product integrity
• Specific customer requirements
