Objective of the position
The holder of this position provides technical support in all matters related to Customs, Customs related systems and logistics/production systems related to Customs and ensures that Draexlmaier America is supported customs systems wise. Support includes but is not limited to: definition, development and implementation of new systems and processes.
Principal activities
- Setup of new information in Customs system (Annex24, Annex31) in accordance with HOST (Raw Material, Finished Product, Suppliers, Customers, etc.).
- KPI reports to DRX Global Customs (ex: value of exports and imports, narrow down the differences between inventories)
- Data standardization between Customs systems and logistics systems (HOST, AVAS, T-CUDAP, PLM, BISS, TISS, etc. (prices, descriptions, technical use, HTS, etc.)
- Act as an information interphase and technical support between sites in MX (SLE-SLI-LME-LMI-DPM-DIM-DPN, etc., etc.)
- New processes development and implementation, time, costs and processes optimization
- Generation of KPI reports and analysis based on GLOSA DS
- Internal Audits to A24 vs GLOSA DS vs discharge reports of A31 and support in SAT audits.
- Gathering specific information needed to correctly assigned the tariff classifications of the items; maintaining the tariff classification database.
- Year end and / or monthly comparison against MRP System.
- Maintenance and depletion of Customs Databases.
Requirements:
- Professional career: BD • Business, Economics, LIN, IT or related degree.
- Relevant experience: 3- 5 years of professional experience automotive industry, customer service, IT experience.
- English Business Level.
