Objective of the position

 Startup and parameterization of several technologies as part of project industrialization and create training concepts

 Implementation and planning of several technologies as part of project industrialization specifically for assembly, and robot motioned technologies also offering support of series production.

 Support production plants in Mexico in new process and optimizing existing.  Support Central Team to industrialization of new technologies and Keep the process stable.

 

Principal activities

 Support the strategic planning of the department/unit by breaking down or developing the strategic planning for the group, within a short or medium-range time frame.

 Increase the level of maturity of the process based on the evaluation results of the pieces produced, achieve the required properties of the product through a robust configuration of the process, for this it will be necessary.

1. Understand the interdependencies between the product properties and process configuration which is predetermined from the development phase;

2. Know and constantly consult the special characteristics for production processes (tolerances and customer requirements);

3. Creation, storage and administration of documentation: process data sheets, part history, acquisition of process data (data acquisition) if required, process verification checklists (error proofing), visual aids, manuals, support software as well as any technical information on productive equipment; and finally with;

4. Conducting optimization analysis and implementation of process improvements.

 Know in detail the characteristics and capacity values required in the product/process specifications.

 Ensure compliance of the production process with the product characteristics in a capable manner, by validating the process and characteristics based on customer specifications using statistical methods, machine and process capacity studies (MFU, PFU), experimental design ( DOE), etc.

 Suggest the adjustment of process tolerances, verify the defined process parameters, with a preliminary capacity study to ensure that the defined ranges will meet the production expectation, if it is not possible to meet the tolerances defined in the development phase, it will be They must create the necessary proposals to carry out a tolerance adjustment working on following points

 Adaptation of the general characteristics (dimensions, SPC, special characteristics and critical characteristics),

 Adjustment of the measurement plans of individual parts and subassemblies by checking a process stable through a PFU (process capacity study).

 Control of the serial production process through measurement plans for critical parts, with the objective of reducing the number of measurement points without affecting the main critical contributor. Considering that all adjustments, changes, modifications or adaptations necessary to achieve compliance with customer specifications and/or product/process tolerances must be made through an engineering change request ECR (Engineering Change Request), therefore the engineer will be responsible for creating said request, coordinated under the support of the engineering change coordinator, and guaranteeing together with the team involved (technical planning, manufacturing, quality,maintenance and production engineers, and even suppliers) that the changes are implemented once approved the request, and finally validate the result of these changes.
 Collaborate with the various production and support areas, but mainly with the process engineering team to provide comprehensive solutions, evaluating the impacts and benefits   throughout all production processes.

 

Requirements:
Professional career: BD • Electronic, Mechatronic Engineer or similar.
Relevant experience: 2-3 years Automotive production equipment, Plastics processing,
Robots Technologies; PLC programming
English Business Level.
