Operation Manager ES/IS

Job title:

In order to support the Production Department in Rayong Thailand, we are looking for Operation Manager ES/IS who can meet the challenges of the international market with openness, flexibility and enthusiasm.

Tasks:

• Support the strategic planning of the Plant (Production) by breaking down the business goals within a short or
  medium-range time frame and in cooperation with the Plant Manager
• Plan and administer the budget in his/her area of responsibility, in cooperation with the headquarter and the
  Plant Manager and make sure there is compliance with it
•  Cooperate in personnel planning in his/her area of responsibility, in cooperation with the Plant Manager and
  local HR;
• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to associates that report to him/her; make personnel decisions in
  cooperation with the HR department and the supervisor/Plant Manager
• Break down and prioritize the group and plant goals, follow up on goals and evaluate goal achievement
• Assure the qualification and target-oriented/ efficient deployment of all direct functions (Production, Industrial
  Engineering) in cooperation with the Plant Manager
• Assure the production of all parts/components to be manufactured at the plant site with the greatest possible
  efficiency and according to business goals with regard to time, quantity, and costs.
• Assure the performance of root cause analysis and implement measures in cooperation with the Plant
  Manager
• Identify potential, develop concepts for improvement in cooperation with the CI-Team (DPV), and assure the
  timely implementation of improvements for processes and structures as well as procedures and methods
  (nonconformity control) using suitable systems/methods (e.g. PDCA, Six Sigma, etc.) in cooperation with the
  Plant Manager
• Assure quality in all technical/commercial processes according to customer expectations in cooperation with
  the Plant Manager
• Assure the implementation of safety, health and environmental protection regulations as part of legislation in
  cooperation with the Plant Manager
• Customer liaison and support in all technical matters, concerning production and Engineering (internal and
  external projects) in cooperation with the Plant Manager
• Take responsibility for process planning/plant planning (e.g. processes, procedures, material flow, layout, etc.)
  in cooperation with the Plant Manager
• Establish proper reporting and weekly review meeting in regards of all Production and industrial engineering
  KPI.
• Disciplinary measures in agreement with the general management.
• Inform the Plant Management about problems which go beyond his/her competence (timely escalation)
• Compliance of 6S, Area and Tool Standards marked by the company and perform mini audits in his/ her areas!

Requirement:

• Professional/graduate education (experienced professional) usually acquired
  through a bachelor’s degree or professional certification with several (three to
  five) years of experience in a specialized field (highly proficient in a technical,
  scientific or specialized field built on a thorough understanding of theoretical
  concepts and principles and their context)
• 3-5 years’ experience in engineering department
• Production in wiring harness industry
• Business fluent in English and German language
• Personal initiative, Goal orientation, Leadership skills, Intercultural
  competence, customer orientation
