Routing Management Engineer

Objective of job

• Controlling and coordinating the creation and maintenance of parts lists from the start of a series development project with the takeover of the migrated acquisition - BOM in Teamcenter to ensure smooth production processes

Principle activities

• Independent control and coordination of the bill of materials creation in the project in cooperation with the respective main project manager and the participating departments from sales, development, production, logistics, purchasing and quality. If necessary, with the support of subordinates  
• Ensuring the procurement of information for the creation and further development of product structure plans (P&L structure) in accordance with project progress
• Creation and maintenance of prototype, pre-series and series parts lists in specified systems ( e.g. HOST, PLM-P&L parts list )
• Performing Component Assignment in SAP/ Teamcenter
• Regular participation in change discussions and implementation of approved ECR's in the affected BOMs / P&L structures
• Creation and maintenance of database entries
• (e.g. Daisy / Matt master data, AVAS, IMDS IPoint, PLM-Teamcenter, HOST, BPM, etc.) in coordination with the specialist departments
• Checking and editing product information in coordination with specialist departments or checking availability, providing and maintaining standards, customer specifications and safety data sheets, as well as requesting and ordering as required
• Ensuring the storage of product and specification data
• Processing of error logs in coordination with specialist departments (e.g. production planning, etc.)

Job requirements

• Specialized knowledge / education: University degree in technical or similar field
• Work experience: Plus a few years of experience (knowledge of methods, techniques and processes; mastery level of skilled trade)
• Additional knowledge: English is a must and Chinese can be an Advantage, comprehensive computer knowledge e.g Office Application, PLM-Application, ERP ect.., Good knowledge of production systems ( manufacturing processes, holistic process-oriented thinking, Willingness to learn, Analytical capability, Problem solution,....
