Quality Supplier Assurance Management

- Act as contact person (e.g. for the parts for which he/she is responsible in the plant, for audits, etc.)
- Lead/train/support employees in his/her area of responsibility
- Administer the blocked inventory, including analysis of blocked parts (e.g. not in spec purchased parts on Production CC/PA assembly line, etc.) in cooperation with the appropriate interfaces
- Assure the creation and archiving of limit samples and reference samples for receiving inspection and requalification
- Support new project launches/change management (e.g. APQP, PWS, evaluating product maturity, etc.)
- Assure the provision of supplier-related data
- Assure and conduct complaint management (e.g. to suppliers, quality and logistics complaints, etc.) and coordinate relevant activities (e.g. supplier activities, etc.) including problem analysis, communication, blocking procedures and defect correction processes, sorting processes.
- Analyse supplier-related quality data including reporting and documentation
- Initiate and comply with the necessary escalations (e.g. for supplier development, etc.)
- Support and advise external sorting and rework companies
- Develop and improve activities (e.g. supplier activities, with regard to capability/function/quality, in cooperation with departments, etc.) based on guidelines, specific standards and requirements
- Monitor operations in the materials receiving inspection process, and timely handling of testing/ inspection requests
- Make decisions on accepting/rejecting materials
- Monitor complaint costs
- Cooperate in quality initiatives (internal and external) and in drawing up and expanding supplier agreements and contracts with regard to quality and logistics agreements or equipment agreements
- Cooperate in the analysis, creation and optimization of internal processes and methods
- Create and evaluate supplier achievement; create trend analyses and develop actions for recognized issues
- Support design activities, taking into account special internal and external requirements
- Implement suppliers PPAP and process approvals
- Support complaint management in escalations
