Tasks:
- Provides business support in the optimal use and development of customs systems and processes (IE2, HOST, TCUDAP), taking into account the strategic direction of the division and the company;
- Analyses the processes and systems used in the customs area DRX: HOST, IE2 and TCUDAP in order to define the specifications for the efficient construction of customs IT systems, analysis that is based both on the information from own systems and on data from interfaces of other processes/departments;
- Plans and conducts training courses on specific topics, at interdepartmental level, both internally and in other countries (e.g. training courses on customs systems, etc.);
- Provides support in determining and optimizing internal standards and processes in his/her area of expertise;
- Coordinates several interdepartmental customs systems in coordination with internal logistics departments and involved units (e.g. Quality, Procurement, etc.);
- Implements customs systems in his/her area of expertise in plants worldwide;
- Analyses data stock and develops improvement measures/suggestions;
- Analyses vulnerable areas within local customs departments and cooperates in developing improvement suggestions;
- Ensures the creation and updating of documentation for supported systems;
- Ensures that black-box testing is performed for supported customs systems.
Profile:
- Bachelor Degree in a technical field;
- +2 years of experience in a similar field;
- Knowledge of customs regulations and preference schemes is an advantage;
- Experience with customs or ERP systems (e.g., IE2, HOST, TCUDAP);
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, optimize processes, and identify improvement opportunities;
- Good communication skills in English;
- German language is an advantage;
- Good organization and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to take initiative, make decisions and adapt to frequent changes;
- Proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about driving continuous improvement in a global environment.
