Objective of job

  • Assure and coordinate the realization of customer change requests during development and series phase on time and in a quality standard as agreed, within the economical targets given by the BU.
  • Lead all tasks of DRX Program in accordance with customer requirements, as detailed by SEP guidelines.
  • Key customer interface across all disciplines for requests and actions internal and externally in regards to the assigned program.
  • Key interface for DRX Senior Management in relation to program deliverables, for management of program requirements and coordination together with line function colleagues.
  • Financially responsible for overall program financial profitability in regards to the assigned program.


Principal activities


  • Clarify technical requirements with the customer; check technical feasibility in cooperation with the development project leader, based on the requirements manual provided by the customer; explain technical solutions as part of customer meetings.


  • Support sales with cost of program alterations, changes, commercial claims. Prepare justification of cost for customer negotiations.


  • Take responsibility for and guarantee the correct creation of schedules for internal timelines, sub-suppliers; coordinate these schedules with the customer's master schedule, in order to assure timely completion of the parts as specified by the OEM. Present completed tool parts to customer in pre-series.

Quality planning

  • Cooperate in the Failure Mode Effet Analysis (FMEA) together with the quality department, the material specialists and the designers, to guarantee product quality as part of the DRX standards and as specified by the customer. Respond to customer requests in relation to quality requirement and coordinate internally corrective actions and customer feedback.

Revision Management

  • Analyze the revision requests with regard to the tools to be used, the product quality and additional processes to assure that customer wishes are implemented on time, on schedule and with proper quality.  Responsible for timely handling of changes for the customer. Supports the correct product information, in cooperation with the departments, and prepares materials for analyzing cost effects, including sign off and approval, and overall management of timelines & interface with customer – Internal and External in relation to engineering changes.

CAD database

  • Liaison with Lead design engineers in relation to customer and internal CAD updates. Contact person for the customer if there are inconsistencies in the CAD data.

Service parts service, SKD and CKD.

  • Assure smooth service parts provision as part of the spare parts catalog described by the customer, and adjust inventories to reflect the currently required quantity of parts.

Budget Planning

  • Develop and coordinate budget planning for the overall project, as part of the stated goal setting of the BU. Draw up, agree upon and follow up on the appropriate goals and actions with associates and managers pursuant to each department.
  • Monitor, approve and analyze progress / reconciliation of the project budget on a monthly basis in relation to expenditure and hours recorded by associates, to ensure that budget is within target. 


  • Update and analyze product report and assure in advance that the content is correct before published to management. Develop trend lines and appropriate actions if profit goals set are not met.

Profit Improvements

  • Develop MATKO and QUAKO Strategy and assure customer approval
  • Drive and support CAD process and assure timely implementation



Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Automotive experience 3-5 years preferred
  • Confident with managing customers and suppliers
  • Project management experience
  • Negotiating and analytical skills
