POSITION:  Senior Project Leader Development         

JOB DUTIES: Manage, coordinate and create project plans and concepts ensuring product development, resource planning, schedule planning, cost planning, and budget adherence to meet customer requirements and in cooperation with technical and key projects leaders. Analyze and evaluate changes, cooperate in negotiations including volume and costs of changes and assure implementation within the intended development area. Clarify the technical requirements and ensuring the compilation of quotations with regards to development costs on the basis of the customer requirements and within the defined general conditions of the customer division. Analyze strategic customer information to develop innovative solution and support the project buyer in defining the requirements for the suppliers and in the supplier decision. Lead and motivate the product & process development associates within the project organization according to the agreed on directives and authorizations. This position requires 20% domestic and 5% international travel. Teleworking within reasonable commuting distance of the Mountain View, CA office permitted up to 50% of the time.

SALARY: $188,781 to 193,000 per year

REQUIREMENTS

Main Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience as a Project Leader, Engineering Project Leader, Lead Engineer, Design Engineer or a closely related occupation.

Special Skills: Also requires experience in the following:

• LDorado and ELENA software including HV-LV harnesses;
• Production processes including Crimping and Ultrasonic welding;
• EDS Development Process;
• RGT Reifegradtool;
• Production Lifecycle Management (PLM);
• Systems Engineering Plan (SEP);
• Project Management;
• Design Six Sigma
• Project budgeting; 
• CAD modeling;
• Electrical System Development; and
• Change Management.
