POSITION:  Senior Lead Engineer CA

JOB DUTIES: Support development project management activities ensuring project timing, cost, quality, and customer management. Define, coordinate, and modify technical requirements for components, modules and systems regarding function, installation, cost, and weight. Provide logistics on scheduling, budgets and capacity plans. Ensure the supply of parts and components in the project development, making sure they are on-time, on-function, in the proper assembly, and as cost-effective as possible. Control and release development deliverables ensuring technical support for the purchasing department in evaluating and selecting suppliers. Create contracts and reports of project status within his/her own area of expertise. This position requires 40% domestic and 10% international travel. Teleworking is permitted within a reasonable commuting distance of the Mountain View, CA office, up to 50% of the time.

SALARY: $132,500 to 162,000 per year.

REQUIREMENTS

Main Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a closely related field of study and two (2) years of experience as a Design Engineer, Lead Engineer, Engineer, or a closely related occupation where required experience gained.

Special Skills: Also requires two (2) years of experience in the following:

• Line management including technical Strategic Projects Planning, Support Disciplinary & Technical Leadership, Support EC/DC Line Alignments, Support Resource Planning, and Support Line Management Reporting;
• HV Standardization and Optimization Projects;
• Electrical System Development;
• Engineering Design Services (EDS) Development Process;
• Project Management;
• Optimain, Host, and Qsys;
• CATIA Software;
• Simultaneous Engineering Process (SEP);
• Reife Grad Tool (RGT); and
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
