  • Contributes to the creation of the customer strategy as part of the corporate strategy (internal & external).
  • Has a segment / OEM-specific effect on customer profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Supports the segment / OEM-specific negotiation strategy with the customer.
  • Responsible for the relationship management with a customer acc. the external escalation pyramid towards the customer


Principle Activities

  • Execution of customer-specific market and competitive market field analysis; develop new business ideas. Perform utility analysis.
  • Conducting strategy and exploratory discussions with the customer; evaluate market opportunities, promote the DRÄXLMAIER product portfolio.
  • Development of a customer strategy as input for the internal corporate strategy process.
  • Development and implementation of the segment / OEM-specific negotiation strategy towards the customer.
  • Representation of the approved customer strategy towards the customer (derived from the higher-level corporate strategy process). Prepares the baseline for a successful sales & acquisition process.
  • Supports the segments in the context of the segment strategy and in the implementation of the pre-board and the segment boards
  • Supports / advises the projects responsible segment sales in negotiation preparations, pricing, in price negotiations over the entire duration of the project.
  • Supports the implementation of the process-compliance contract review.
  • Supports segment / OEM-specific contract negotiations with the customer (e.g. price escalation clauses, etc.)
  • Supported in segment / OEM-specific price negotiations (e.g. annual price negotiations, cost-down measures).
  • Supports / advises in the implementation of global sourcing (definition of terms from purchasing)


Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

6-8 years experience in Technical Product Sales

6-8 years experience leading and managing teams

6-8 years working in a International environment
