2D/3D Harness Designer (m/w/x)

Your responsibilities:

• Develop design changes for electrical harnesses according to guidelines.
• Design and optimize electrical harnesses from concept to series production.
• Create 2D/3D CAD documentation and verify data accuracy in compliance with applicable standards.
• Communicate with other DRÄXLMAIER design offices regarding basic design methodology in CAD programs, with a focus on technical drawings.
• Develop and agree on design solutions with the project team as well as other departments, production, suppliers, and the customer in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines, and requirements.

Our expectations:

• Proficiency in Czech and German or English sufficient for work‑related communication.
• Experience as a designer or similar position.
• Technical education, knowledge of vehicle design and automotive industry.
• Knowledge of CAD programs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills – ability to clearly convey technical information, collaborate effectively in an international environment, and build positive relationships.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities – prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines in a dynamic setting, adapting to changes, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in CAD documentation.
